Satanic Cult from US.
Pact is the typical REAL black metal band (no Wolves in the Throne Room here): Brutal, with hints of death metal, unrelenting, fast as a shark, rough and tough.
The Infernal Hierarchies, Penetrating the Threshold of Night is their sophomore album, and shows a band that is committed to the black metal cause. This is a manifesto of underground ritualistic mockery against je$u$.
Songs like Baal-Zebub, Lord Of The Flies is strong and hateful without being clumsy. They do their sound with an excellent production but it’s always gritty tending to raise some hell with the vortex of hate belched by the modified vocals that dominates the whole opus.
In the song The Great Serpent of Tehom, they are even more pronounced like the voices of a legion arisen because one has invocated them from the deep abyss. The drum work is packed by and large with a plethora of strong and beefy riffs that is a wake up call to the advent of Mephistophelian age onto the planet Earth.
Firelord Andramelech is a brutal and unremitting ode to the President of the Senate of the demons, whose followers burnt children in his bonfire. Totally manic, this song can gather together all the ancient demons of Levant.
Pactmaker Lucifuge is even more demonic taking aback snide posers into the fires of sempiternal destruction. Over again the rhythmic session is precise and it’s made for headbanging.
Asmodeus Beast of Judgement is a song which will condemn you to an eternity in the second level of hell, through your lust and desires, and lust is what Pact show in this song while they play!
All in all Pact is one of these American bands that are doomed to secure the dying tradition of pure American Black Metal against the odds and fads. They do it with gusto and they do produce some efficient invocation to bring forth Lucifer, Beelzebub, and Leviathan and all their cohorts to destroy the useless human race. It couldn’t get better.
