One year without Jeff.

Remembering a fallen warrior!

jh

One year ago today Jeff Hanneman one of the warriors in charge of the Slayer‘s axework passed away leaving a legacy of blood for metal fans worldwide. His work and contribution was (and is) unfathomable for thrash metal, heavy metal and rock n roll in general. He helped to create the musical death machine that is Slayer today. But of course as everybody knows things disintegrated a little bit after his passing: Dave was sacked and Slayer confidence was lost amidst the most die hard fans. I myself have no problems with the new formation and their new song rocks as long as I’m concerned. But some people do. As if Jeff’s ghost hunts the chapel everywhere. But let’s not remember him as a ghost, but as the one of the best guitarists in the history of metal: may his legacy never been forgotten!
