Experimental art gallery.
Mathieu Drouet is a photographer who had commissioned this work from WE ALL DIE (Laughing) – the band of Arno Strobl (CinC / Carnival In Coal and Arno Strobl and 6:33) for his photos that he considered worth an artwork for an album. He did so with 12 bands actually and this is the result of the first collaboration.
The track played by WE ALL DIE (Laughing) has a subtitle of Variation on the scanning of thoughts and it’s an arcane myriad of jazzy and moody doom experimental piece with a leading piano all the way to the track and mega heavy funeral guitars and ultra-slow drumming! The track clocks in at almost 14 minutes of pure despondency and it’s opulent and creative ambient music.
The track played by Mathieu Drouet himself has a subtitle of Grande plage, op.1, movement #1: le noir and it’s intended to be “the sound of the photo”. It’s pure harsh noise but with repetitive patterns (once the recording stops it starts all over again).
Great for those who seek experimental forms of art and noise packed in the same place!
